Walkways and viewing areas around the lake allow residents to enjoy the water year-round. Take a stroll or bike along the paved Lake City Greenway — an 8-mile, multi-use trail that connects Winona Lake to other amenities in the area.

Winona Lake is a certified Bicycle Friendly Community and even has some mountain bike trails designed for off-road M.T.B. cycling. The Winona Lake Trail System spans over 110 acres along the southeastern bank of the lake with 10 miles of diverse bicycle trails for beginners and seasoned experts.

Along the eastern shore of the lake, you’ll find Limitless Park. This is where the lake’s designated swimming area is located and where you can rent equipment for various lake activities. The park features state-of-the-art playground equipment and a splash pad — perfect for younger children. Pavilions and picnic tables are available, and tennis and basketball courts can be found in the park for anyone interested in playing.

Kelainey’s Sweet Dreams, located in the Village at Winona, serves 21 different flavors of ice cream and offers a selection of gourmet food and drinks to choose from.

The Village at Winona hosts numerous concerts, performances, and festivals throughout the year, including the Fat & Skinny Tire Fest, Art Fair, the Porsche Festival, and Canal Days. Every second Friday of each month during the summer, an Arts Walk is sponsored by the Village featuring different artistic expressions for everyone to enjoy.

With a multitude of recreational activities and unique cultural experiences, Winona Lake is a family-friendly location with an active community that is the perfect place to fill your days with endless fun.
